Molly and Charlie’s Summer Wedding at The Sinclair of Skaneateles

On a sunny June day, Molly and Charlie exchanged vows at a local church and then made their way to The Sinclair of Skaneateles for an evening of celebration. The Sinclair, a repurposed chair factory built in 1871, sits on the banks of Skaneateles Creek. The couple’s cocktail hour took full advantage of the greenery and creek views surrounding the venue’s outdoor space. Afterward, the party moved inside to the main reception hall, taking in the unique aesthetic of the exposed brick walls and large windows. The blend of industrial character and natural beauty made The Sinclair a truly special setting for Molly and Charlie’s summer wedding.

A Celebration at The Sinclair of Skaneateles

Cocktail Hour

Following the ceremony, guests gathered under a large white tent in The Sinclair’s outdoor space. Guests enjoyed the warm summer weather and refreshing drinks as they mingled both inside and outside of the tent. The highlight inside the tent was a beautiful wooden charcuterie board filled with artisanal cheeses and cured meats.

A mix of soft rock and country music set a laid-back yet celebratory mood. The playlist featured a mix of generational favorites, with artists like John Mayer, Hall & Oates, Kacey Musgraves, Dave Matthews Band, Bruce Springsteen, and Zac Brown Band providing a soundtrack for the afternoon’s festivities. The relaxed atmosphere and delicious food and drinks set the stage for the rest of the evening.

The Reception

The celebration continued inside The Sinclair’s main reception hall, where the party kicked off with a high-energy introduction of the wedding party. One by one, the bridesmaids and groomsmen danced down the stairs to “Rather Be” by Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne. Finally, Molly and Charlie made their grand entrance to the upbeat rhythm of “Higher Love” by Kygo and Whitney Houston, ready to begin their new chapter together.

Guests then found their seats at long, wooden tables decorated with light blue runners, delicate greenery, and shimmering candles. Each table was marked with a hand-crafted light green number and name card, adding a personal touch to the cozy setting. Guests also discovered adorable matchbooks at each place setting, customized with the phrase “The Perfect Match.” Overlooking the entire scene was a custom-made sign that read “The Bouchards,” adorned with white lettering against a rustic wooden background and woven with flowers in the wedding colors.

Before dinner, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance, swaying to “Pushing Up Daisies (Love Alive)” by Brothers Osborne. This sweet moment was followed by a father-daughter dance to James Taylor’s “You’ve Got a Friend” and a mother-son dance to Tim McGraw’s “Humble & Kind.” After a series of emotional toasts and speeches, guests enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Rosalie’s Cucina.

The Couple’s Review of Envision Entertainment

Here’s what Molly and Charlie had to say about their experience with Envision Entertainment:

“Paul was the DJ for our wedding last month at the Sinclair of Skaneateles. In the months leading up to the wedding, he was attentive, organized, flexible and so very helpful in planning every detail of our timeline! We met several times before the wedding and were 100% comfortable and confident about music going into our big day. From cocktail hour to introductions to dinner to dancing, Paul was amazing and the day went by as smoothly as we could’ve hoped. We can’t thank Paul enough and highly recommend him for your wedding!!”
