Venue, Vendor Team & Cocktail Hour
On this beautiful October day at the Cayuga NY wedding Venue Apple Station Winery, we celebrated the marriage of Crystal & Brian. For Crystal & Brian’s wedding I provided reception DJ services on the inside banquet area of the winery and provided music and sound on the outside grounds just behind the Apple Station for the ceremony. I had already had complete wedding ceremony sound discreetly hidden before guests arrived in the Apple Station’s ceremony area as instrumental covers played in the background. Before taking my spot to start the ceremony sound, I checked in with my Central NY based wedding photographer, Maureen of Capture Your Moments to make sure she was all set for the wedding party to enter into the ceremony. Crystal and Brian’s ceremony was a beautiful intimate ceremony that ended with guest cheering as Laura & Matt kissed and made their recessional out of the ceremony leading us into the cocktail hour.
Cocktail Hour, First Dance & Parent Dances & Toast
As guests mingled, I hit play on the music for the cocktail hour with a mix with a lot of similar songs that are found on my Spotify Cocktail Playlist, Classic Rock. As everyone began taking their seats at the conclusion of cocktail hour, I got all the wedding party staged for their wedding party introductions. Guests got excited as I welcomed in the wedding party followed by Crystal & Brian coming in last. Crystal and Brian headed right to the center of the dance floor to share their first dance together as husband and wife to “Buy Dirt” by Jordan Davis featuring Luke Bryan. Right after the huge applause from Crystal & Brian’s first dance, we immediately went into the parent dances where Danced danced with her father to Daddy’s Little Girl by Bob Car and Brian’s dance with his mother was to “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion. Once all the dance formalities had concluded we were listened to two toast one from the Best Man Joe and Maid of Honor Catherine.
Dinner, Cake & Dancing
At the conclusion of the toast, we then all dined listening lot of tracks that from my “Upbeat Sing-Along” Spotify Playlist per Crystal and Brian’s request. Before opening the dance floor, I brought recognition to Crystal & Brian’s cake cutting as guest stood by and watched as “Marry Me” by Train played in the background as guests gathered around to observe the cutting. Once cake was cut there was nothing left to do but dance the night away which guest did right up until the last song “Favorite Mistake” by Mac Miller featuring Ariana Grande.
