Treleaven Winery Wedding

Kristin & James’s Lovely Treleaven Winery Wedding

Venue, Vendor Team & Cocktail Hour

On this beautiful June day at the King Ferry NY wedding Venue Treleaven Winery just 20 miles north of Ithaca NY we celebrated the marriage of Kristin & James. For Kristin & James’s wedding I provided reception DJ services at the outside banquet area of the winery. The reception started out with guests arriving to the winery grounds and spread out at all the outdoor seating arrangement options which made for the perfect spot for guest to sit back and enjoy conversation with each other. I was already setup under the pavilion area setting the vibe with some bluegrass songs with a heavy rotation of one of the couples favorite bands The Dip. As cocktail hour came to an end, I checked in with my wedding planner Shawn of Happiest Days Designs an Ithaca based wedding planner to begin to get the guest seated for the wedding party introductions. As guest where taking their seats I checked and made sure my photographer Whitney was all set to capture the Introduction. Whitney of Mountain Gatherings Photography is an Adirondack based photographer also serving the east and west coast Upstate New York and the Pacific Northwest. The lovely photos Whitney capture form this day can be seen as part of this very blog post. Once guests were seated and photography was staged I was able to introduce the wedding party to the excited guest who greeted Kristin and James with a huge applause as “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars played in the background.

First Dance, Toast & Dinner

After a quick welcoming speech by Kristin and James and the applause died down James ended the welcoming by asking Kristin to dance with him. On this beautiful day the first dance was able to take place just outside the reception pavilion under the clear sky as they were surrounded by all their guest on the dance floor in front of Treleaven’s stage. Kristin and James shared their first dance together to the beautiful song, “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys. After the couples beautiful first dance guests were seated to dine as we heard the days toast and blessing. During the dinner I. played a lot of upbeat fun songs as requested by Kristin and James as can be heard on my Spotify Playlist, “Sing Alongs Upbeat”.

Father Daughter Dance & Open Dance Floor

Once dinner had come to an end I drew everyone’s attention back out to the dancefloor where Kristin had me Invite all fathers and daughter to join her and her father Mark on the dancefloor to share the moment all together dancing to “I Loved Her First” By Heartland. One the father daughter dance was over the dance floor was open for al guest for the rest of the night where everyone enjoyed wide mix of Top 40 hits and 2010s Pop music right up until the end of the night with “Something About the Way You Look Tonight” by Elton John played just before the last song “Never Gonna Give You Up”
