Ventosa Vineyards Fall Wedding

Laura & Matt’s Laura Gorgeous Ventosa Vineyards Fall Wedding

Venue, Vendor Team & Cocktail Hour

On this beautiful fall September day at the Geneva wedding venue Ventosa Vineyards, we celebrated the marriage of Laura & Matt. For Laura & Matt’s wedding I provided DJ services, our “Full Larger Room Accent Lighting” package, and the Selfie Station Photo Booth with the digital scrapbook kiosk for guest to sign. The reception started out with guests arriving at the Vineyards ceremony location on the south end of the winery with a beautiful view of the vineyard and Seneca Lake. I had already had complete wedding ceremony sound discreetly hidden in the Ventosa’s ceremony area as instrumental covers played in the background. Before taking my spot to start the ceremony sound, I checked in with my Buffalo NY based wedding photographers, Jeff and Snjezana a husband-and-wife team and owners of Fisher Creative Image to make sure they were all set for the wedding party to enter into the ceremony. Laura and Matt’s ceremony was a beautiful intimate ceremony that ended with guest cheering as Laura & Matt kissed and made their recessional out of the ceremony leading us into the cocktail hour.

Cocktail Hour, Wedding Party Introductions, First Dance & Parent Dances

As guests mingled, I hit play on the music for the cocktail hour with a mix with a lot of timeless classics my Wedding Dinner Playlist, which I have on Spotify account for couples to use for cocktail music ideas. As everyone began taking their seats at the conclusion of cocktail hour, I got all the wedding party staged for their wedding party introductions. Guests got excited as I welcomed in the wedding party followed by Laura & Matt coming in last. Laura and Matt headed right to the center of the dance floor to share their first dance together as husband and wife to “Lover Remix” by Taylor Swift. Right after the huge applause from Laura & Matts’ first dance, we immediately went into the parent dances where Laura danced with her mother to “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion and Matt’s dance with his mother was to “Mother” by Michael Bublé.

Dinner, Toast, Cake Cutting & Dancing

Transitioning from the parent dances that were a huge hit with guests we had a quick toast form the Maid of Honor Mary-Lisa. At the conclusion of the toast, we then all dined to a wonderful meal provided by Ventosa Vineyards. During dinner I played a lot of tracks that can be found on my Spotify list called Wedding Dinner Sing-Alongs Upbeat and my always popular chosen playlist called Wedding Dinner – Rat Pack, Crooners & Italian. Before opening the dance floor, I brought recognition to Laura & Matt’s cake cutting as guest stood by and watched as “Sugar, Sugar” by The Archies Played in the background. Once cake was cut there was nothing left to do but dance the night away which guest did right up until the last few songs which were “I Will Always Love You” By Whitney Houston followed by “Last Dance” by Donna Summer to bring closure to this beautiful wedding day.
