Skaneateles Wedding

Kendall & Casey’s Sinclair of Skaneateles Wedding

Venue & Vendor Team

On this beautiful July day at the Skaneateles wedding venue The Sinclair of Skaneateles we celebrated the marriage of Kendall & Casey. For their wedding ceremony and reception, I provided wedding DJ services as well as wedding décor uplighting in the reception area. Our day started out with guests arriving to the wedding ceremony site just behind the Sinclair where I had already had complete wedding ceremony sound discreetly hidden on the wedding ceremony grounds. Before taking my spot to run ceremony sound, I checked in with my wedding photographers a husband and wife team Josh and Mallory of J&M Expressions Photography which beautiful photos can be seen as part of this blog. Kendall & Casey’s ceremony was a beautiful intimate ceremony that began with the ladies of the bridal party walking down the aisle to join Casey, groomsmen, and Kendall’s godfather Don who was the officiant for their services as “A Thousand Years” by Piano Guys instrumental played in the background. Once the wedding party was settled upfront Kendall made her way day the aisle being escorted by her parents to the song “I Get to Love You” by Ruelle.  Kendall & Casey shared their beautiful vows with each other followed by their first kiss as husband and wife. Guest cheered on the newlyweds as the made their recessional out of the ceremony as “Simple” by Florida Georgia Line was the recessional track leading us into the cocktail hour.

Cocktail, Introductions & First Dance

As guests mingled, I played some country music track mixed in with songs from my “Wedding Dinner – Sing-Alongs Mellow” Spotify playlist in the background until guests were invited inside for the wedding reception portion of the evening. As everyone made their way into the Sinclair, I got all the wedding party staged for their wedding party introductions. Guests got excited as I welcomed in the wedding party followed by Kendall & Casey coming in last. First dance immediately followed the entrance of Kendall & Casey on the middle of the dance floor to share their first dance together as husband and wife to “Forever to Go” by Chase Rice acoustic version found on Spotify. First dance was followed by Casey remaining on the dance floor and joined by his mother Belinda to share a mother daughter dance together to “Do I Make You Proud” by Taylor Hicks. After Casey danced with his mother, I welcomed Mark, Kendall’s father to the dance floor to welcome all guest and shared words of why the father daughter dance was special for him and Kendall. Following his kind words, I began to play the song he had mentioned “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong as guest just soaked in this beautiful father daughter moment together on the dance floor.

Dinner & Dancing

Transitioning from first dance we all sat for a wonderful meal provided by in house Sinclair caterer Rosalie’s Cucina. Soundtrack for dinner was also one of my Spotify playlists I call “Wedding Dinner Music Rat Pack, Crooners & Italian”. As dinner came to an end, we enjoyed a couple more toast that were presented by the Maid of Honor and Sister of the Bride Amy followed by Best Man Billy to conclude the evenings toast. After a few moments of more dinner conversation, I shortly opened the dance floor and guest danced the rest of the night away to a wide mix of Oldies, 2010s Pop, Modern Pop, and an occasional 80s and 90s track mixed in through the dance set. As the night came to an end guest fished screaming the ballad of “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond surrounding Kendall and Casey on the dance floor.
