Wedding Venue & Vendor Team
On this beautiful May weekday at the Skaneateles wedding venue The Sinclair of Skaneateles we celebrated the marriage of Rachel and Seth. For their Skaneateles wedding ceremony and reception, I provided wedding DJ services as well as a slide show picture collage of photos that started to play during the parent dances on my “Elegant TV Booth” DJ setup during the reception. Our day started out with guests arriving to the wedding ceremony site inside the Sinclair where I had already had complete wedding ceremony sound discreetly hidden in the reception area in front of the Sinclair fireplace. Before taking my spot to run ceremony sound, I checked in with my wedding photography and videography team. Alice of Alice Shoots People a Utah based destination photographer and Gabrielle of Gabrielle Fordham Films a Syracuse based video film maker. After Checking in with photo and video my last wedding ceremony vendor to check in with was harpist Lisa Fenwick who provided the beautiful music for the ceremony, and I ran the sound and controlled the microphones on this day. Rachel and Seth’s ceremony was a beautiful intimate ceremony in front of the lovely Sinclair’s fireplace with their wedding party standing with them. During the ceremony Rachel and Seth shared the most beautiful written vows to each other followed by their first kiss as husband and wife. Guests cheered on the newlyweds as the made their recessional out of the ceremony as Lisa once again play lovely harp recessional music.
Cocktail, Introductions & First Dance
As guests mingled, my Wedding Cocktail Music Acoustic Singer Songwriter Playlist, and my Wedding Dinner Motown & R&B Oldies Playlist which I share on Spotify, played in the background until guests were invited inside for the wedding reception portion of the evening. As everyone made their way into the Sinclair, I got all the wedding party staged for their wedding party introductions. Guests got excited as I welcomed in the wedding party followed by Rachael & Seth coming in last. After making it onto the dance floor, I handed Rachel and Seth the microphone to welcome everyone and express their gratitude by thanking their wedding guests for sharing the special day with them. After welcoming guests, we immediately transitioned into Seth’s dance with his mother to the song “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. After Seth’s Dance with his Mother, Rachel joined her father on the dance floor as they danced to Cody Johnson “God Bless the Boy” and in the middle of their dance Rachel’s father handed her off to Seth as the two were finally able to share their first dance together as husband and wife. Rachel & Seth’s first Dance was “To Get to You” (55th and a 3rd) by Kenny Chesney.
Dinner & Dancing
Transitioning from first dance we all sat for a wonderful meal provided by in house Sinclair caterer Rosalie’s Cucina. Soundtrack for dinner was also one of my Spotify playlists called Wedding Dinner – Sing-Alongs Upbeat for guests to enjoy while they ate and conversed. As dinner came to an end, we enjoyed the ceremonial first cut of the Syracuse wedding bakery cake made by Stacey of Cake Shop CNY. After cake cutting was over there was nothing left to do but dance the night away to a wide mix of Oldies, 2010s Pop, Modern Pop, and an occasional 80s and 90s track mixed in through the dance set. After the last song guests filtered outside the Sinclair to line up for Rachel and Seth’s Bubble Sendoff. As the sendoff was staged Rachal and Seth shared an intimate last dance alone in the room with each other to “Messy” by Chase Rice.
